This Monday, KLRU is offering a chance for two lucky fans to get their jewelry appraised by local appraiser Ralph Mothnar live on KLRU during Antiques Roadshow.
Have a piece of your Grandmother’s jewelry you’re curious about? Maybe a piece of fine jewelry or a watch that you want to know more about? Mr. Mothnar will give you background information about your item and a dollar value if possible.
Enter your name and email address and we will choose two lucky Antiques Roadshow fans at noon Friday, June 4. You must be able to come to the KLRU studios on Monday, June 7, from 5:30-8:30pm and be willing to appear on live television. Enter here

I have two Elgin watches still in the boxes with tags on them.

I have a most unusual approximately 6′6″ x 5′2″ which is unquestionably hand-woved and unquestionably old. How old, I don’t know. It depicts Indians (face, heads and symbols)and, in the center, some circular pattern that seems to feature corn plants. I have photographs I am able to upload at your request.

Jim, thanks for your comment!
Unfortunately we were only doing the on-air appraisals for our June pledge event last year, but don’t fear, we’re offering tickets to the 2012 KLRU Appraisal Fair during the upcoming December pledge drive. Be sure to tune in to KLRU to learn how your donation can get you there! (and we WILL have an upholstery appraiser on board to give you some insight on your tapestry).
For more details, email membership@klru.org
Thanks!
