Chet Garner host of The Austin Daytripper will be at the REI in Round Rock on Saturday, Dec. 12, to talk about cool day trips in and around Central Texas. He’ll also be listing his top 10 mandatory day trips around Austin.  The REI is located at 201 University Oaks Blvd, Suite 1100

    I saw my first 3 episodes of Austin Day Tripper today and loved them and you. Very clever and movined along well. I found myself smiling at your antics.Loved the Leiderhosen!

    I have set my recorder to record the series so I won’t miss any and I can retrace your steps at my leisure.

    Thank you for an enjoyable trip.

    Who were Donald and Elizabeth Smith. Got any informaiton on that?

  2. My husband called me in to see this neat new show about things to do outside Austin. Even though we have been to these places we are ready to take off next week end. Thanks, wonderful show and we laughed and enjoyed Chet Garner very much. This will be a regular view for us. Thanks

  3. My kids and I love your show! My husband too! The show makes us want to visit so many places. We’ve live in rural Central Texas and our kids go to Thrall Elementary! We love what you do and the fun you have in making the show makes us want to go out and have some fun!

  4. I loved the one on Galveston, Texas. We will be going to Galveston soon and I wanted to know the restaurant he went to for soft shell Crab.
