Highlights 8/2 to 8/8

Austin gets a special sneak preview of Austin City Limits with Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel at 7 p.m. Sunday. This live event includes interviews with Ray Benson and is hosted by ACL producer Terry Lickona and Central Texas Gardener producer Linda Lehmusvirta.

The Oak Ridge Boys: A Gospel Journey at 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 p.m. Saturday features live performances of their best-loved gospel favorites, combined with vintage footage and photos of their 36-year journey together.

On this week’s Antiques Roadshow at 7 p.m. Monday, host Mark Walberg joins appraiser Beth Szescila for a tour of Bayou Bend in Houston, Texas, the extraordinary museum and gardens that once were home to famed philanthropist and antiques collector Ima Hogg.

Magic Moments: Best of 50s Pop at 8:30 p.m. Monday and 9 p.m. Friday features classic moments from Perry Como, Debbie Reynolds, The McGuire Sisters and more. Phyllis McGuire, Pat Boone and Nick Clooney host this nostalgic warm trip back to the 1950s.

In this follow up to Change Your Brain, Change Your Life, and Magnificent Mind At Any Age, Dr. Daniel Amen presents his plan on how to use your brain to bring and keep more love in your life at 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Dr. Wayne Dyer presents a program, based on his newest book Excuses BeGone at 9 p.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Thursday. Dyer’s goal is simple but not easy: to help viewers learn how to overcome lifetime thinking habits that keep us from maximizing our human potential.

Josh Groban performs favorites from his best-selling albums in an intimate theatre at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Great Performances at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday presents Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood in concert.
