Masterpiece Mystery! at 8 p.m. Sunday presents “Wallander,” the story of Swedish Inspector Kurt Wallander as he goes against the creeping malaise of contemporary Sweden.

at 7 p.m. Monday celebrates legendary songwriter and producer David Foster, with special performances by Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble and Brian McKnight, among others.

Kennedys: American Experience at 9 p.m. Monday chronicles the family of Kennedys that left a legacy that continues to influence politics today.

at 7 p.m. Tuesday travels to Southeast Asia to look at a lake that contains evidence of Earth’s greatest volcano cataclysm of the last 100,000 years.

at 9 p.m. Tuesday tells the story of a group of young men who survived for 72 days after their plan crashed in the Andean Cordillera in 1972.
