Since moving to Austin, I have enjoyed both KLRU and KLRU2 and was dismayed when KLRU2 went off the air (at least on my apartment-sponsored cable service). However, the programs that I really loved, the BBC Saturday night programming, was on KLRU so I adjusted. Unfortunately, the past couple of Saturday nights I have not been able to see these wonderful shows, and looking at the schedule for the next few weeks, it seems that the BBC Saturday night has disappeared. Why the programming change? With no BBC America available (at least on my TWC, I don't know about the rest of Austin), this was a unique service! I hate to say that it was the only reason I was considering joining KLRU, but it really was and now I won't be.

KLRU Responds: March is KLRU's biggest fundraising drive of the year and unfortunately for some of our viewers, the British comedies and dramas often get postponed during this time. We did have the As Time Goes By Special scheduled to air last Saturday, but technical issues prevented that show’s broadcast. We are working to correct the technical problem and reschedule that program.
