| Emmy
award winning journalist Jeff Salzgeber relocated
to Central Texas in 2004 after more than a decade
with the Cable News Network. While with CNN, he
served as producer, correspondent and senior assignment
editor. He began working
with KLRU last November, writing and producing
an hour long “Austin Now” Special
looking at the long-term impact Hurricane Katrina
will have on our community. He continues that
collaboration with a new “Austin Now”
piece examining the “barriers to entry”
of race and mental health on Austin’s Katrina
population.
Salzgeber began his career
working with WTIU, the PBS affiliate in Bloomington,
Indiana.
