Second Youth Family Theatre, founded in 1991, is an Austin-based non-profit theatre company focused on engaging young people with theatre by providing high-quality family-oriented productions as well as educational outreach.

"Second Youth Family Theatre is a passion," says Julianna Wright, artistic director of Second Youth Family Theatre. "It's something that you think about 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you didn't, then the moment that you stepped out on the stage, the kids would know. The parents may not know, because parents are not as observant as their children, but the kids would definitely know, so, Second Youth, to me, is truth."
