Gay Marriage and the 2004 Elections

As part of its exploration of the issues surrounding the gay marriage debate, Austin Now gets to know lesbian partners Karen Langsley and Jill Wilcox, who are raising their two children in Dripping Springs. Their lives are almost identical to those of families headed by heterosexual married couples in their community, yet they presently cannot be legally married. This piece takes a very personal look at the issue of gay marriage.
