This year's Austin City Limits Music Festival truly established the event as an Austin institution. Over 215,000 people attended the festival, which took place at Zilker Park on September 17-19, and featured such diverse acts as Sheryl Crow, The Pixies, Elvis Costello and the Imposters, Ben Harper and Trey Anastasio. Take a look back at some of the highlights from the festival and learn more about its importance to Austin in this special retrospective.

favorite PBS station, KLRU. He has moved back to Austin 4 times in the
past decade, seemingly unable to escape our wonderful city's grasp. During
one such return, Dutch completed his RTF degree at UT Austin while working
as a soundman for local bands and Zach Scott Theater. Recently, he has
earned a few film festival awards for new media and has been a freelance
photographer for Tribeza. He prefers his coffee strong and black.
