Marching to Nowhere

Marching to Nowhere is an in-depth look at high school music education. The story follows a low-income high school marching band as they get ready for the UIL State Marching Band Contest. Arts In Context will examine the financial challenges that face all music programs in the state and the impact this has on the community, the schools, and the students. By finding compelling characters within the school and exploring the friendships and rivalries, ups and downs, victories and defeats that make up the marching band experience, Arts in Context will shine a light on the state of the arts in our high schools.
